Susan Alvis teaches
American and World Literature at Beaufort Academy’s Upper School in
Beaufort, South Carolina. Alvis graduated from The University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill. She lives in Beaufort with her husband and
three children, a cat and her constant muse and writing companion,
Belle, her golden retriever.
