Susan
Sipal
Susan theorizes that if her family didn't evolve straight out of the
red clay of Warren County, then they came over on the Mayflower, hiked
straight there, and haven't left since. Either way, her family--on both
sides--have lived in this beautiful rural area of North Carolina until
her parents' generation. Thus she's related to just about the whole
county--many in more ways than one.
Perhaps craving something a wee bit different, Susan married a Turkish
doctoral student and moved to Turkey for a few years. Now back in North
Carolina, Susan, her husband and two kids still live in the country
where the deer and the squirrels play...though not Warren County.
Susan is published in both fiction and non-fiction through novels, short
stories, and essays. Her next release--Helen Leoda and the Scepter of
Isis, novel one in the Helen Leoda fantasy series--will be out in
the fall of 2005 from Wizarding World Press.
